Magnesium:

Countless studies have shown that Magnesium supplementation can help reduce belly fat storage and modulate cortisol and metabolic pathways involved in fat distribution. Taking 200-400 mg/day of magnesium citrate as part of a healthy diet and exercise regimen may help target a reduction in abdominal fat. Normal levels of magnesium may be helpful in warding away inflammation and poor gut health, which are seen in obesity and may make weight loss program difficult.

Alpha lipoic Acid

Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that is made naturally in the body and found in foods. It is used to break down carbohydrates and to make energy.  Adding Alpha-lipoic acid to diet (dosage of 1800 mg daily) can help with weight loss in obese subjects. Differences in side effects compared with currently used anti-obesity drugs suggest that alpha-lipoic acid may be an adjunctive treatment for obesity.

Taurine

Taurine occurs naturally in foods with protein, such as meat or fish. The human body uses taurine for actions in cells. One example is that taurine is used for energy production. Taurine also helps the body process bile acid and balance fluids, salts, and minerals, among other actions.  If you wish to combat obesity and lose weight, you should pair it with exercise and a proper diet to see optimal results. Studies show that 3 grams per day of Taurine for 7 weeks reduced body weight significantly in a group of overweight or obese (but not-yet-diabetic) adults.

Levocarnitine

Levocarnitine is used to prevent and treat a lack of carnitine. It is used to prevent and treat this condition in patients with kidney disease on dialysis. It is given to people whose body cannot properly use carnitine from their diet. Lack of carnitine can lead to liver, heart, and muscle problems. Because L-carnitine helps move more fatty acids into your cells to be burned for energy, it’s sometimes used as a weight loss supplements. One review of 37 studies found that L-carnitine supplementation significantly reduced body weight, body mass index (BMI), and fat mass.

Ascorbic Acid

Vitamin C, also known as L-ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin that is naturally present in some foods, added to others, and available as a dietary supplement.  Humans, unlike most animals, are unable to synthesize vitamin C endogenously, so it is an essential dietary component. Vitamin C helps in the weight loss process in two very significant ways: It helps regulate the hormone insulin that tells your body to store fat. It’s part of an important amino acid that burns the stored fat you already have.
